Biography

Lisandros Mitsotakis was born in Chania in 1939. He attended the school of Fine Arts with Yannis Moralis as his teacher.

Mitsotakis has shown his work in two solo exhibitions, one in Greece and one in California. His work is a depiction of intense forms, full of colour, movement, melody and eroticism, which emit optimism and appetite for life, inspired by Engonopoulos, Moralis, and Matisse.
